I am pleased to announce the hardcopy release of the FreeBSD Handbook!
Written by the FreeBSD Documentation Project <http://www.FreeBSD.org/>,
the FreeBSD Handbook is a comprehensive guide to installing and running
FreeBSD. It covers the installation and day-to-day use of FreeBSD, the
ports collection, kernel configuration, the X Window System, printing,
FreeBSD's Linux binary compatibility support, upgrading your system from
source by using the ``make world'' command, and much more.

If you are interested in purchasing a copy of the handbook, you can do
so online from the FreeBSDMall <http://www.freebsdmall.com/> or Walnut
Creek CDROM <http://www.cdrom.com/>. Alternatively, you can place your
order by phone at 1-800-786-9907 (toll-free in the US and Canada) or at
1-925-674-0783 (international).

Pricing for the book is $49.95 with the first CDROM of the 4 CD set (the
installation CD), or $39.95 without the CDROM.
