: I am sure that Mr.Warner has a datasheet of Tamarack TC5299J chipset.
: However he cannot obtain Corega CG-LAPCCTXD which has
: Tamarack TC5299J chipset.
: Therefore he want a assistance to have the information of the store
: in Japan to serve him with Corega CG-LAPCCTXD by courier.

Yes. That's right. I had hoped to say this in Japanese, but I'm
afraid that my Japanese wasn't good enough to be understood. Sorry
for any confusion that caused. I think that I have one ordered now
thanks to the kindness of members of this list. It should arrive
shortly. I have also been told that the SMC 8041 V2 may also have
one. One of those is on order as well.

I originally obtained the datasheet from a web datasheet search engine
that doesn't allow me to give out copies. It can be found at
http://www.chipdocs.com/pnsearch/search.html?okwd=tc5299j, but the
company that runs this web site charges a subscription. Doing a web
search now, I see one can obtain it at
http://www.alldatasheet.com/view.jsp?Searchword=TC5 for what appears
to be free.

I'd written the patches before sending my request to the list. The
chip just has its miibus registers in a different location, so the
patch was relatively simple. I have them in my perforce tree. If you
are interested, you can find the differences at
http://people.freebsd.org/~imp/tc5229j.diff. However, they are large
since they reorganize the driver a little and merge some PRs as well.
They are relative to -current. I hope to merge them in time for
6.0-RELEASE.

Warner
