Disclaimers:

kmenu-gnome is not compatible with distributions that use a unified
applications.menu for both KDE and Gnome like Mandriva, SuSE, or UHU-Linux.

Some applications may not appear where expected if kmenu-gnome is installed
over a personalized K Menu. The workaround is to first install kmenu-gnome
and then customize it. This is how to remove a customized menu:

rm -f ~/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu
