The Uninterrupted Broadcasting System (UBS) is a program designed to run the operations of a radio station when a DJ isn't in house. This includes playing station ID's, public service announcements, and songs. This program is similar in function (but not design nor implementation) to DRS 2006. The UBS was not intended to be used for webcasting, but it could presumably be adapted for this purpose. The intended audience of the UBS is smaller college/high school/commercial radio stations which wish to do unattended broadcasting via a stable and reliable computer daemon.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
